【中国是否有意愿进口加拿大液化天然气？中国大使回应】金十数据5月12日讯，据中国驻加拿大大使馆，5月9日，中国驻加拿大大使王镝接受加主流电视媒体“加拿大电视台”（CTV News）政论节目《问询时刻》（Question Period）主持人瓦西里基·卡佩洛斯（Vassiliki“Vassy”Kapelos）专访。王镝大使表示，中加之间在经贸领域有着强大的互补性，在能源领域也是如此。这不仅是传统能源，也包括清洁能源。在传统能源领域，我的同事告诉我，三月份中国从加拿大进口的原油单月就超过了730万桶。而且，也有加拿大朋友告诉我，在加拿大去年跨山输油管道扩建项目开通之后，新增的产量几乎一半是销往中国。中国是世界上重要的能源进口国，加拿大是世界上重要的能源生产国，但是在中国进口能源的伙伴国中，加拿大排名很靠后。如果加拿大的能源有足够的市场竞争力，中国当然愿意进口加拿大的能源。在这方面，双方进行合作的潜力是很大的。
