据路透社报道，当地时间5月8日，微软公司总裁布拉德・史密斯表示，由于担心数据安全漏洞以及所谓 “中国宣传” 问题，微软不允许其员工使用DeepSeek。

当日，在美国参议院主题为“赢得人工智能竞赛”的听证会上，史密斯称，微软公司也未在其应用商店中上架DeepSeek的应用程序，理由是存在“数据传回中国以及该应用生成所谓‘中国宣传’相关内容” 的风险。

针对DeepSeek数据安全问题，外交部发言人郭嘉昆4月24日表示，中国政府高度重视并依法保护数据隐私和安全，从来没有也不会要求企业或个人以违法的方式为中国政府采集或存储数据。中方一贯反对泛化国家安全概念、将经贸科技问题政治化的做法。同时，中方也将坚定维护中国企业的合法权益。
