Odaily星球日报讯 Meta 正在考虑整合稳定币，以降低相较法币的支付成本，例如向 Instagram 创作者付款。报道称，“该公司似乎目前尚未确定具体使用哪种稳定币”。此外，Meta 已“联系加密基础设施公司，以解决跨地区支付的费用问题”。该公司还聘请了“前 Ripple 高管 Ginger Baker 担任产品副总裁”。此次重新关注稳定币，正值“美国监管机构在特朗普总统就职后，对加密货币采取更友好的态度”。2019 年，Meta 曾推出稳定币项目 Libra，后更名为 Diem，但“因监管打压，项目未能如期推出并最终关闭”。Diem 的知识产权已售予 Silvergate 银行，尽管该行后宣布破产，“该项目仍以 MOVE 语言在如 Aptos 等新链中延续，但不再涉及 Meta”。
