Odaily星球日报讯 微软公司创始人比尔·盖茨 8 日宣布将把大部分个人财富捐赠给盖茨基金会，并设定基金会到 2045 年停止运营前慈善支出超过 2000 亿美元的目标，以支持世界各地需要帮助的人们。他表示，预计从现在到 2045 年，盖茨基金会的慈善支出将超过 2000 亿美元，这包括基金会现有的捐赠基金规模以及他未来的捐款。另据盖茨基金会发布的声明，未来 20 年基金会的整体战略不变，将通过与各方伙伴紧密合作，尽最大努力推动三个核心目标，即帮助终结孕产妇和婴儿死于可预防的疾病；确保下一代不再遭受致命传染病威胁；帮助数亿人摆脱贫困，走上富裕道路。
