智通财经APP讯，东亚银行(00023)发布公告，该行董事会已获该行执行主席李国宝爵士、副主席李国章教授及三井住友银行告知，于2025年5月9日交易时段后，买方已同意购买，而三井住友银行已同意出售，该行合共5280万普通股，每股价格为9.64港元。该行获买方及三井住友银行告知，该价格乃基于该行股份于2025年4月10日至2025年4月25日的十个交易日期间的成交量加权平均价格，并按买方及三井住友银行协定折让约8%。收购股份约占本公告日期该行已发行普通股总数的2.00%。
公告称，执行主席李国宝爵士及副主席李国章教授表示，购买收购股份反映他们对该行长期前景、战略方向及为股东创造可持续价值的信心。
