--Nissan Motor plans to reduce its headcount by more than 10,000 on top of the job cuts announced previously, Japanese public broadcaster NHK reported Monday, without citing sources.
--Job cuts at Nissan will total about 20,000, or about 15% of the workforce, the NHK report said.
--The Japanese carmaker said in November that it would cut 9,000 jobs and reduce its global production capacity by one-fifth.
