消息面上，中美经贸高层会谈5月10日至11日在瑞士日内瓦举行。中美经贸中方牵头人何立峰表示，此次中美经贸高层会谈坦诚、深入、具有建设性，达成重要共识，并取得实质性进展。中美双方一致同意建立磋商机制，将尽快敲定相关细节，并将于5月12日发布会谈达成的联合声明。
华西证券指出，4月中国家用电器出口金额、出口数量分别为87亿美元、3.8亿台，分别同比下滑2.9%、增长1.2%，该行认为4月出口额同比下滑或因美国关税政策扰动拖累，建议关注关税预期变动。申万宏源则表示，“五一”假期，在以旧换新政策持续发力带动下，家电及通讯器材类商品消费火爆。家用电器和音像器材销售收入同比增长167.5%。
