SIA Engineering's (SGX:S59) attributable profit to owners more than doubled for the fiscal half ended March 31 to SG$70.8 million from SG$37.8 million a year earlier, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Friday.
Earnings per share rose to SG$0.063 compared with SG$0.0335 in the comparable period.
Revenue increased to SG$668.9 million from SG$580.2 million, backed by stable growth in demand for aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services.
The board recommended a final ordinary dividend of SG$0.07 per share for the year ended March 31.
Shares of the engineering services company were up nearly 1% in recent trading.
SIA Engineering jumps 2.19% at 11:23 am, May 13th.
