比亚迪和青山控股重申在智利建设锂加工厂的意向，这似乎与智利政府关于项目已被取消的说法形成反差。

“两家公司均未表示其已终止在智利的投资，且双方均愿意继续与智利有关部门对话，”中国驻智利大使馆在X上发帖表示。

此前，智利当地报纸Diario Financiero报道称，比亚迪与青山已决定不再推进把碳酸锂加工为电池正极材料的项目。智利政府发言人Aisen Etcheverry等官员证实了该报道，称这两家中国公司在锂价暴跌后已中止投资意向。

这两家中国公司于2023年获得智利碳酸锂采购优惠价，但此后在全球性供应过剩背景下，均未推进相关建厂计划。

就比亚迪而言，这家电动汽车巨头未能与智利当局就项目条款达成协议。负责管理智利锂资源的政府机构Corfo5月7日声明称，比亚迪已于今年1月撤回了工厂选址。

Corfo表示，青山子公司所获项目被宣布已放弃，因为该公司从未在智利注册成立。青山为亿万富翁项光达旗下的金属集团。

周五，Corfo拒绝回应中国大使馆的声明，仅提及其周三的声明。

Corfo5月7日还表示，智利政府已于4月30日启动Albemarle Corp.所产锂优惠价采购的新招标流程，预计将授予多个意向方。
