Emperor Energy (ASX:EMP) said that the environmental plan for the Judith-2 well was published on the website of Australia's National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) after progressing through the completeness check process, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The firm is targeting drilling Judith-2, located 200 kilometers east of Melbourne in Victoria, starting mid-2026 with the intention of engaging a jack-up drill rig. An initial proposal has been received from the drilling company, and talks are progressing.
Its shares rose 4% on market close.
