美国得州总检察长肯·帕克斯顿当地时间5月9日发布声明称，谷歌已同意支付13.75亿美元，与得州就侵犯用户数据隐私的指控达成原则和解。

2022年，帕克斯顿起诉谷歌非法追踪和收集有关地理位置、隐身模式和生物识别的用户隐私数据。

谷歌发言人对此回应称，和解协议已了结一系列“旧索赔”，其中一些涉及公司已改变的产品政策，“很高兴能将这些问题抛诸脑后，我们将继续在服务中建立强有力的隐私控制机制”。
