【国家安全之争：韩国或限制谷歌高精地图外传】金十数据5月11日讯，韩国官员周日表示，在围绕国家安全、数字主权和其他贸易问题的激烈争论中，韩国政府将在8月之前决定是否允许谷歌向海外传输该国的高精度地图数据。今年2月，苹果向国家地理信息研究所提交了申请，要求批准将1：5000的高精度地图数据转移到海外数据中心。目前，谷歌使用公开的低分辨率1:25000比例尺地图数据，结合航空和卫星图像，提供韩国地图。这导致与国内地图服务提供商相比，地图服务的质量较低。2016年，韩国政府提出条件，要求谷歌模糊敏感网站或将数据托管在国内服务器上，谷歌拒绝了这一要求。
