The company reported a Net Investment Income (NII) of $83.489 million, a decrease from $86.431 million in the previous quarter ending December 31, 2024, and from $94.375 million in the same quarter of the previous year. The NII per common share was $0.19, compared to $0.20 in the previous quarter and $0.23 in the quarter ending March 31, 2024. The company's net loss applicable to common shareholders was $171.331 million for this quarter, a significant decline from a net loss of $30.993 million in the previous quarter and a net income of $113.891 million in the same quarter of the previous year. The net loss per common share for the quarter was $0.39, compared to a net loss of $0.07 per share in the prior quarter and net income of $0.27 per share in the same quarter of the previous year. Interest income, excluding payment-in-kind interest income, from control investments was $60.584 million, while income from non-control/non-affiliate investments was $75.874 million. Structured credit securities contributed $3.272 million to the interest income. The interest income as a percentage of total investment income stood at 93.3%, an increase from 91.0% in both the previous quarter and the same quarter last year.
