亚特兰大联邦储备银行行长Raphael Bostic表示，鉴于贸易政策的不确定性和日益逼近的经济风险，他支持本周维持利率不变的决定。

　　“当前经济中不确定性依然普遍存在，商界人士对我和我的同事表示，他们预期这种不确定性持续的时间将比今年早些时候预想的更久，”Bostic表示。

　　“我不认为在前路如此不明朗的情况下调整货币政策是审慎做法，”他表示。

　　Bostic表示，商界领袖的情绪正变得“越来越悲观”，但这尚未在经济数据中体现出来。

　　“我的基线预测是，我们仍然会看到经济展现韧性，但其韧性将弱于我年初时的预期，”他表示，“目前来看，许多结果都有可能出现”。
