Anson Resources (ASX:ASN), through its subsidiary Blackstone Minerals, secured approval to start a drilling program to re-enter the Mt Fuel-Geyser 1-25 well at its Green River lithium project in Utah, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Despite no recorded lithium and bromine assays, supersaturated brine was intercepted during historical oil and gas drilling at the well, the filing said.
The drilling program is set to utilize the Bosydaba#1 well results to establish a JORC mineral resource at the project, according to the filing.
Shares rose nearly 2% in midday trade Monday.
