Boeing (BA) has received orders for 32 Boeing 787-10 aircraft for British Airways from the UK's International Airlines Group, the purchaser said Friday.

In addition, Boeing has also granted British Airways the option to purchase up to 10 more Boeing 787s, the UK-listed airline group said.

IAG also said it has ordered 21 A330-900neo jets from Boeing rival Airbus for other airlines within the holding company and retained the option to purchase up to 13 more of the planes.

The orders for the aircraft, to be delivered between 2028 and 2033, are subject to shareholder approval at IAG's annual meeting in June, the company said.
