Woodside Energy Group (WDS) said late Tuesday it signed a nonbinding collaboration deal with Saudi Arabia's Aramco to explore global opportunities, including Aramco potentially acquiring a stake in and liquefied natural gas offtake from Woodside's Louisiana LNG project.
The companies are also exploring a potential collaboration on lower-carbon ammonia.
Woodside said it is targeting first LNG from the project in 2029.
The company's shares were up 1.4% in recent premarket activity Wednesday.
