智通财经APP获悉，福特汽车(F.US)在德国科隆的两家汽车厂的工人周三举行罢工，抗议这家美国汽车制造商计划在欧洲裁员数千人。
福特的裁员反映了汽车行业更广泛的变革，大众汽车、日产汽车和通用汽车(GM.US)等公司纷纷开始裁员，以应对来自中国厂商的新竞争、需求疲软以及向电气化转型的高昂成本。
罢工工人聚集在科隆一家工厂前，高举着一条红色横幅，上面写着“为每一份工作而战”。
“今天的罢工造成了数百万欧元的损失，”工会主席Benjamin Grushka站在纠察线边缘表示，他指的是24小时罢工导致的生产停顿。
他还表示：“如果福特工厂明天不邀请我们进行进一步谈判，我会感到惊讶。”
在谈到进一步采取罢工行动的可能性时， Grushka表示：“如果雇主不采取行动，我们就准备罢工。”
福特汽车尚未对此次罢工发表评论。
福特去年11月表示，将在欧洲裁员约14%，其中德国受到的影响尤其严重。福特工人于上周投票决定罢工。
劳工代表坚持要求管理层寻找其他措施来重组业务。
截至发稿，福特汽车盘前跌0.4%。
