0816 GMT - SK Hynix is set to post strong DRAM earnings growth this year on supply of advanced high-bandwidth-memory products to clients expanding artificial-intelligence investments, Heungkuk Securities analyst Injun Son writes in a note. Son expects the South Korean memory chip maker's operating profit to jump 49% in 2025, with HBM products potentially accounting for 43% of total DRAM revenue, up from 35% in 2024. SK Hynix's global HBM market share is presumed to have reached 68% in 1Q, Son says. He expects the company to keep its HBM market leadership by increasing the output of 12-layer HBM3E products this year and HBM4E products next year. (kwanwoo.jun@wsj.com)
