智通财经APP获悉，联合健康(UNH.US)周三公布新任首席执行官Stephen Hemsley的基本年薪将为100万美元，在此之前，该公司宣布Andrew Witty因个人原因辞去首席执行官一职。
这家管理式医疗巨头补充道，董事会及其薪酬和人力资源委员会“在考虑了市场数据、委员会独立薪酬顾问的建议和其他因素后”批准了Hemsley的薪酬方案。
现年72岁的Hemsley担任该公司的董事会主席，并曾经担任首席执行官。在Witty周一突然离职后，Hemsley被联合健康任命为首席执行官，任命立即生效。
尽管Hemsley同时担任联合健康董事长和首席执行官，但他将不再以董事身份领取薪酬。
据报道，现年60岁的Witty曾是英国制药商葛兰素史克(GSK.US)的首席执行官，他于2018年加入联合健康，担任其药房福利管理部门Optum RX的负责人，并于2021年成为该公司的首席执行官。Witty在2024年的基本工资为150万美元。
