消息面上，腾讯发布全员信，涉及WXG事业群调整。主要内容包括：成立电商产品部，负责微信内交易模式的探索，加速发展交易基建及交易生态，运营微信交易新模式；开放平台基础部更名为开放平台部，负责微信公众号和小程序产品的策划、研发和运营工作。腾讯管理层指出，电商本质上是一场长跑，而非短跑，公司没有设定短期的KPI指标。
值得注意的是，微盟于2025年1月9日正式推出“微盟X微信小店”五大解决方案，旨在帮助商家在微信小店生态中实现高效整合与业务增长。德银此前发表报告指出，预测微盟集团今年总收入按年增长两成，经营现金流和经调整净利润预测持续录得按年增长。鉴于未来几年AI开发和微信小商店的巨大潜力，对公司仍持建设性态度。
