消息面上，红星美凯龙昨晚发布公告称，公司收到通知，公司执行董事兼总经理车建兴先生被云南省监察委员会立案调查并实施留置措施。截至公告日，公司其他董事、监事和高级管理人员均正常履职。公司组织架构及内部控制机制完善，公司董事会运作正常。公司控制权未发生变化。美凯龙表示，为保证公司日常经营工作顺利进行，由公司董事长李玉鹏先生在此期间代行总经理全部职责。公司日常经营情况正常，上述事项不会对公司日常经营活动产生重大影响。
公开资料显示，车建兴于1966年6月出生。1990年12月创办常州市红星家具城；1994年6月创办红星家具集团有限公司，且于1994年至2007年担任董事长及总经理；2007年创办美凯龙的前身上海红星美凯龙家居家饰品有限公司，自2007年至2023年8月担任公司董事长。自2023年，建发股份入主美凯龙后，车建兴退场，但仍担任美凯龙董事、总经理。最新业绩显示，该公司今年一季度营业收入约16.15亿元，同比减少23.49%；净利润亏损5.13亿元，亏损同比扩大38.20%。
