Doosan Establishes Dedicated Physical AI Lab; Shares Rise 4%

Doosan (KRX:000150) established a dedicated Physical AI (PAI) Lab within its holding division to spearhead AI-led innovation across its core businesses, including robotics, construction, and power generation.

The lab will invest in key technologies and collaborate with startups and academia, notably partnering with Stanford University's Human-Centered AI Institute in the US, the South Korean conglomerate said in a Tuesday release.

Doosan aims to lead this industrial AI evolution through its subsidiaries such as Doosan Robotics (KRX:454910) and Doosan Bobcat (KRX:241560).

Shares of Doosan rose 4% in recent trade while those of Doosan Robotics increased nearly 1%. Shares of Doosan Bobcat fell nearly 1%.
