Alphabet's Google Launches Fund to Invest in Startups

Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google said Monday it is launching a fund that will invest in and collaborate with startups.

The AI Futures Fund will provide selected startups early access to artificial intelligence models developed by Google's DeepMind, as well as resources, technical expertise and equity funding to accelerate their progress, Google said.

Among the startups selected in the program were Toonsutra, Viggle, and Rooms, Google said.
