Datang Renewable Power's April Output Jumps 15%

China Datang Corporation Renewable Power (HKG:1798) generated nearly 3.4 million megawatt-hours of power in April, up 15% from a year prior, a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing by the power company said.

Of the total output, wind and photovoltaic power generation rose by 17% and 7% to a little over 3 million megawatt-hours and 370,071 megawatt-hours, respectively.

As of April 30, total power output increased by 11% to nearly 13.3 million megawatt-hours. Of this, wind and photovoltaic power output stood at around 11.9 million megawatt-hours and 1.4 million megawatt-hours, respectively, up 11% and 13% from the year-ago period.
