BRC Asia's (SGX:BEC) profit for the six months ended March 31 rose 9% to SG$42.1 million from SG$38.5 million a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Earnings per share climbed to SG$0.1533 from SG$0.1404 in the year-ago period.
Revenue declined 6% year over year to SG$715.6 million from SG$758.3 million, due to lower steel prices.
