消息面上，网易云音乐公布，今年一季度净收入为18.58亿元人民币。期内网易云音乐营业成本11.76亿元，同比减少6.6%，环比则降8.1%。毛利润6.83亿元，环比增长13.7%。此外，乐华娱乐旗下北京乐华圆娱文化传播遭网易云音乐起诉，涉及着作权许可使用合同纠纷。
此外，里昂发表研报指，腾讯音乐向市场展示出其超级会员模式已取得成效，以及在线音乐服务每付费用户平均收入增长具潜力。里昂又指，腾讯音乐下调今年全年付费用户净增长指引，反映出公司期望在获取付费用户方面避免与网易云音乐进行正面竞争，亦显示行业竞争格局正趋向良性，市场参与者正专注于提升自身产品和服务差异性。
