BlockBeats 消息，5 月 15 日，据 Cointelegraph 报道，新加坡高等法院 5 月 9 日作出判决，批准 Sonic Labs 提出的清算 Multichain 基金会申请。毕马威会计师事务所被指定为清算人，负责处理该基金会的资产清算事宜。
这一裁决源于 2023 年 7 月 Multichain 遭遇的黑客攻击事件，该事件导致包括 Fantom、以太坊等多条链上资产损失，总金额超过 2.1 亿美元。
Sonic Labs 首席执行官 Michael Kong 表示，由于 Multichain 前员工始终拒绝配合调查，公司不得不采取法律手段。清算人将启动资产追回程序，若成功追回资金，将返还给受影响的用户。Multichain 已于 2024 年 7 月停止运营，其 CEO 此前被警方拘留。
