渣打银行(SCBFY.US)周四表示已设立一个专门团队，负责服务私募股权公司、对冲基金和主权财富基金，这是其投行部门更大范围内吸引更多金融客户业务的举措之一。该团队将由渣打银行金融机构部全球联席主管(global co-head of financial institutions coverage)Molly Duffy、张晓蕾Jerry Zhang领导，并计划任命一名全球主管。
渣打表示，该团队初期将由约25名银行家组成，其中包括一些外部招聘人员。团队总部设在纽约，并在伦敦、迪拜设有区域中心。
此举表明，聚焦亚洲、非洲和中东市场的渣打银行希望通过与其他金融机构合作来提高收入。该行表示，目前来自这些金融客户的收入占其投资银行总收入的51%，而且平均回报率更高。
