【设备老化故障 美国又一地发生空中交通管制通信中断】金十数据5月16日讯，美国联邦航空局官员15日说，科罗拉多州丹佛市的空中交通管制员12日与飞机之间的通信一度中断大约90秒，管制员不得不使用应急备用频率。这为美国航空基础设施老化引发故障再添一例。联邦航空局负责空中交通管制的官员弗兰克·麦金托什15日在国会众议院听证会上说，当地时间12日下午1时50分左右，丹佛空中交通管制中心发生故障，令通信一度中断，不过雷达没有黑屏。该空管中心指挥的飞机涉及美国各地机场。他说，当时主频率和主要备用频率都出现了故障，因此管制员不得不转而使用应急频率进行通信。美联社援引联邦航空局声明报道：“管制员使用另一个频率向飞行员传达指令……没有对运行造成影响。”
