美国白宫新闻秘书卡罗琳·莱维特表示，卡塔尔政府提出向美国国防部赠送一架波音747-8飞机，但该问题仍处于法律审批阶段。

　　卡罗琳·莱维特向媒体说：“卡塔尔政府慷慨地提出向国防部赠送这架飞机。该问题的法律细节仍在审批中。但当然，对我国政府的一切赠予均完全合法。”

　　此前报道，特朗普政府拟接受卡塔尔皇室赠送的波音747-8飞机。该电视台消息人士指出，飞机将在特朗普任期内作为总统专机使用，之后将捐赠给特朗普总统图书馆所有。根据白宫法律顾问办公室与司法部为五角大楼进行的分析显示，此类财产赠予在法律上不被视为贿赂。

　　航空工业问题专家向该电视台表示，这架飞机的价格为4亿美元左右，但需配备额外的设备以保障通信安全，这也会增加成本。

　　Axios网站表示，美国民主党众议员里奇·托雷斯呼吁针对即将进行的飞机转让进行调查。
