智通财经APP获悉，美国国家公路交通安全管理局(NHTSA)缺陷调查办公室(ODI)已向特斯拉(TSLA.US)发出一系列质询，内容涉及FSD软件及该公司计划中的无人驾驶出租车服务(Robotaxi)。特斯拉需在2025年6月19日之前对NHTSA的请求作出回应。
根据NHTSA致特斯拉的一封信，联邦调查人员最新提出的问题集中在FSD在低能见度条件下的表现，并希望“了解特斯拉如何评估其车辆及自动驾驶技术在公共道路上的适用性”。NHTSA要求特斯拉说明，其自动驾驶系统是否与现有的“受监督FSD系统”相同或类似。此外，NHTSA还要求特斯拉提供无人出租车服务所使用的车队规模、车型细节，以及特斯拉如何评估其无人出租车在低能见度道路条件(如阳光刺眼、雾霾、扬尘、雨雪等)下的“运营安全性”。
据悉，此次信息调查是NHTSA对特斯拉“完全自动驾驶”(FSD)软件进行调查的一部分。该项调查最初于2024年10月启动，源于在能见度低的情况下与FSD使用相关的四起交通事故报告。这款基于订阅的FSD软件要求驾驶员保持手握方向盘。FSD目前已作为“受监督版”提供给特斯拉车主使用。
特斯拉曾在4月底表示，其基于FSD的出行服务正在德克萨斯州奥斯汀和旧金山湾区进行测试，已完成“超过1500次行程和1.5万英里的驾驶”。特斯拉首席执行官马斯克声称，该公司即将推出的无人出租车服务将使用尚未发布的“无监督FSD”软件。
