0053 GMT - SK Telecom's 2025 earnings may be pressured by a recent hacking incident, which has prompted massive Universal Subscriber Identity Module card replacements for customers, Daiwa Capital analysts Thomas Y. Kwon and Joon Lee write in a note. They trim their 2025 revenue forecast for the South Korean wireless carrier by 1.6% and cut their net-profit estimate by 3.6%. They expect the company to face difficulties in acquiring new users and retaining existing subscribers while assuming higher costs for hacking-related customer services and security measures. Daiwa cuts its target price for the stock by 6.1% to KRW56,800 but keeps an outperform rating. Shares are 1.2% lower at KRW51,600. (kwanwoo.jun@wsj.com)
