Power Minerals to Begin Drilling Program at Santa Anna Niobium-Rare Earths Carbonatite Project in Brazil; Shares Surge 25%

Power Minerals (ASX:PNN) is set to begin a 2,000-meter drilling program at the Santa Anna niobium-rare earths carbonatite project in Brazil, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The program aims to confirm and extend the previous significant mineralized sections and test new ones as the mining company works towards its maiden mineral resource estimate, the filing stated. It is part of its due diligence over the project.

Power Minerals' shares surged 25% in recent trade.
