Latitude 66 (ASX:LAT) said that proposed amendments to Finland's Mining Act, along with its land ownership, could accelerate the development of its Kuusamo Schist Belt project in Finland, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The amendments could also simplify the transition of its Juomasuo and Pohjasvaara mining rights into the current permitting framework, the filing said.
Shares of the company fell 4% in recent Friday trade.
