SEATTLE--Redfin Corporation $(RDFN)$, the technology-powered real estate brokerage, reported that April's most expensive home sales were dominated by beachfront properties in Florida. The most notable transaction was a $133 million beachfront estate in Naples, FL. Overall, six of the top 10 sales were in coastal Florida, with two in Beverly Hills, CA, and two luxury condos on Manhattan's Billionaires' Row also making the list. Redfin noted a significant gap between sale and list prices, as ultra-luxury homes often sell for much less than their asking prices due to the nature of prestige pricing and limited comparable sales. Currently, the most expensive active listings include properties in Southern California, coastal Florida, and Lake Tahoe, with the highest listed at $285 million in Manalapan, FL.
