路透布鲁塞尔5月14日 - 奥地利倡导组织NOYB周三表示，将寻求一项针对Meta Platforms META.O的禁令，如果这家科技巨头推进使用欧洲人的个人数据来训练其人工智能$(AI)$模型的计划，可能会导致数十亿欧元的损害赔偿要求。
由隐私活动家Max Schrems牵头的NOYB（不关你的事）组织称，该组织已于周三向Meta发出了一封停止信。Meta计划从5月27日开始使用Instagram和Facebook欧洲用户的个人数据。
Meta称，根据欧盟隐私规则，使用用户数据来训练和开发其生成式AI模型和其他AI工具是合法的，这些模型和工具可以与第三方共享。
这家美国科技巨头上月表示，用户将收到一个链接，链接到一个表格，用户可以在该表格中反对将自己的数据用于训练目的，18 岁以下用户账户中的私人信息和公共数据将不会用于训练。
Schrems批评了Meta的理由。
“我们目前正在评估申请禁令的选项，但也可以选择随后提起集体诉讼，以获得非物质性损害赔偿，”Schrems说：“想想看，4 亿多欧洲 Meta 用户，他们都可以要求500欧元左右的损失赔偿。你可以算一下。”
NOYB说，可以根据欧盟集体补救办法申请禁令，该办法使消费者能够对欧盟企业提起集体诉讼。NOYB将5 月 21 日作为 Meta 回应的最后期限。(完)
