HSBC Holdings (HSBC) is forming a new Capital Markets and Advisory group by merging its global financing and investment banking operations under a unified structure, Bloomberg reported Friday.
The report said HSBC's reorganization combines debt capital markets, leveraged and acquisition finance, and private credit with corporate finance and advisory services.
Adam Bagshaw, HSBC's global head of investment banking, will lead the Capital Markets and Advisory group, which is tasked with expanding private credit and strengthening the bank's leadership in Asia and the Middle East, Bloomberg said.
HSBC did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
