JD.com (JD) and Alibaba Group Holding (BABA) are among the Chinese e-commerce platforms that are offering discounts of up to 2,530 yuan ($351.2) on Apple's (AAPL) latest iPhone 16 smartphone models, Reuters reported.
The discounts come ahead of China's annual "618" shopping festival on June 18, according to the report.
Reuters was unable to determine if the discounts were being offered by Apple itself or the platforms, the news agency said.
JD.com, Alibaba and Apple didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
