特朗普利用低于预期的通胀报告再次向美联储主席施压，要求鲍威尔尽快下调利率。

　　“没有通胀！汽油、能源、杂货，几乎所有商品的价格都在下降！！！”特朗普在社交媒体发文称。“美联储必须降息，就像欧洲已经做的那样。‘迟钝鲍’到底哪里出了问题？”

　　特朗普补充称，美联储目前的策略对准备全面复苏的美国不公平”。

　　“让该来的来吧，这将是一件美妙的事！”他继续写道。

　　在3月出现近五年来首次环比下跌后，4月美国CPI上涨0.2%，为连续第三个月通胀数据低于市场预期。

　　特朗普努力淡化人们对其关税政策引发涨价和供应短缺的担忧。不过，4月数据有其特殊之处，尽管经济学家普遍预期企业会将惩罚性关税带来的成本转嫁给消费者，但上个月美国零售货架上的许多进口商品是在新关税生效前进入美国的。

　　还有一些企业选择自行吸收成本，以避免在消费者对经济已感焦虑之际进一步削弱需求。

　　此外，机票、酒店、娱乐等服务类价格疲软也表明非必需品的需求正在减弱，压低了整体CPI涨幅。
