Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) reported shallow, high-grade gold intercepts from exploration diamond drilling at its Boundiali gold project in the Ivory Coast, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
Significant intercepts from the drilling included 24.35 meters at 1.21 grams per tonne grade of gold from 40 meters, as well as 12 meters at 6.66 g/t grade of gold from 69 meters.
It noted that eight of its diamond drilling rigs continued to drill at the project, targeting 100,000 meters, while two more mineral resource estimate updates are planned in the year to grow the maiden mineral resource estimate.
Its shares fell 4% in recent trading on Tuesday.
