智通财经APP获悉，据报道，由英伟达(NVDA.US)支持的人工智能(AI)搜索初创公司Perplexity正在与投资者就新一轮融资进行后期谈判，该轮融资的估值为140亿美元。
知情人士透露，本轮融资规模预计达5亿美元，可能由风险投资公司Accel领投。
Perplexity没有立即回应置评请求。
去年12月，该公司在获得机构创投等多家投资方注资后，估值尚为90亿美元。
这家初创公司也得到了亚马逊(AMZN.US)联合创始人杰夫·贝佐斯等众多投资人的支持，正致力于开发AI驱动的搜索引擎，意图挑战谷歌(GOOGL.US)在搜索领域的主导地位。
值得关注的是，苹果(AAPL.US)高管Eddy Cue本月初证实，随着Safari浏览器搜索量下滑，这家iPhone制造商已与Perplexity展开接洽。
