Ford Motor has hired Kyle Crockett as the automaker's next chief accounting officer.
Ford on Tuesday said Crockett, who most recently served as vice president, controller and chief accounting officer at Carrier Global, will join as vice president of accounting on May 19 and will become chief accounting officer on the first business day after the Dearborn, Mich., company files its second-quarter report with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Carrier disclosed Crockett's pending departure last month.
Ford said Mark Kosman, its current chief accounting officer, will take on another role in its finance organization.
Ford said Crockett, 51 years old, will receive a base salary of $575,000 and an annual bonus with a target of 75% of his base pay. He will also receive a $3.95 million sign-on bonus, including $1.75 million in cash and $2.2 million in restricted stock units.
