5月14日上午消息，有报道称，微软宣布，将针对各级别、各团队和各地区裁减3%的员工，受影响人数多达约6000人。新浪科技就此求证微软方面，目前暂无回应。

　　有消息称，此次裁员主要为控制成本，同时将数十亿美元投入AI领域。之前，微软发言人曾公开表示，将继续实施必要的组织变革，好让公司在变幻万千的市场中处于最佳地位，从而获得成功。

　　微软在4月底公布了业绩好于预期，季度净利润达258亿美元，并发布了乐观的财务预测。

　　目前，微软在全球拥有约22.8万名员工。周二华盛顿州表示，微软将裁减1985名与微软总部相关的员工，其中包括1510名办公室员工。这被认为可能是微软自2023年裁减1万个职位以来规模最大的一轮裁员。
