汇丰研究发表报告指，5月首十一日的澳门行业赌收为85.5亿澳门元，即过去6日的日均赌收为5.75亿澳门元，按周跌44%，按年降1%，相信是由于黄金周后的疲弱的季节性需求。
该行认为，中美的声明及政策缓和了关税的紧张局势，或可在某程度上改善消费者情绪。不过，如果宏观情势没有好转，博彩需求亦可能受到影响，尤其是中场需求。该行假设5月余下时间的日均赌收为5.7亿至6.3亿澳门元，则全月的赌收应为200亿至212亿澳门元，按年表现持平至增长最多5%。
