松下集团在5月9日发布集团经营改革的进展后，部分媒体报道“松下将放弃马达产品业务，并且将在2025年度内退出或出售课题事业”。对于这些失实报道，松下集团于5月13日发布了《关于“松下集团经营改革进展”的部分报道》的声明给出了回应，具体如下：

从声明来看，松下集团对于马达产品业务发展前景依旧看好，并对未来继续加大在研发、服务、市场拓展等方面的投入进行了研讨，同时也并不存在“将于2025年度内退出或出售课题事业”的计划。

此外松下还声明，此前部分媒体报道的“人员的优化将于2029年3月内实施”的消息也是不实消息，该计划将于2025至2026年度之间展开。
