Goldman Sachs Group (GS) has had talks with regulators about a launch of Marcus, its retail bank, in Ireland, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The talks took place in recent months, the people said, adding that Germany was another location the investment bank was considering for expansion of its retail business, according to the report.
Goldman Sachs did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
