Livium's (ASX:LIT) wholly owned subsidiary, Envirostream Australia, signed an expanded recycling agreement with BYD Company's Australian unit, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Under the contract, Livium is the preferred supplier for recycling services for BYD Australia, expanding the scope of a previous contract to new energy vehicle batteries, commercial vehicle battery ranges, and BYD battery energy storage systems, per the filing. The contract supersedes the prior agreement with BYD Auto signed in September 2024.
The new deal took effect on May 1 and has an initial term of three years.
Livium's shares were up 19% in recent trade.
