Synchron是一家私营公司，开发植入式神经接口解决方案，类似于埃隆·马斯克的Neuralink。Synchron提供了一种名为Stentrode的设备，该设备集成了读取大脑信号的电极。自2019年以来，Stentrode设备已经植入了10人体内，这表明该技术仍处于早期发展阶段。
通过将这项技术整合到自己的设备中，苹果公司可以为成千上万瘫痪或患有肌萎缩性侧索硬化症的用户打开大门。
