Ballymore Resources (ASX:BMR) found high-grade gold mineralization in stage five drilling at its Dittmer Project in Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The results included 2.9 meters at 1.6 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold, including 0.3 meters at 99.8 g/t gold from 136.8 meters.
The company has applied for a larger mining lease surrounding its granted lease, which, if granted, will allow it to extend the existing underground workings and continue drilling from underground to test ore zone extensions.
The company's shares fell nearly 6% in recent Tuesday trade.
